Mamoswine (Japanese: マンムー Mammoo) is a dual-type Ice/Ground Pokémon.
It evolves from Piloswine when leveled up while knowing AncientPower. It is the final evolution of Swinub.
Mamoswine resembles a wooly mammoth crossed with a boar. Mamoswine’s brown fur is very thick to endure harsh cold and protect from snow and ice, thus explaining both their Snow Cloak Ability and Thick Fat Hidden Ability. Their tusks are made of pure, solid ice, and their massive body size is also helpful in preserving their own body heat. Mamoswine has a mask-like pattern around its face, with a white rim and blue inside. The fur on its muzzle is tan and shaggy, and its nose, like its pre-evolutions’, is also pig-like, if somewhat less so. Mamoswine’s feet are black, with three thick claws, and its tail is small. Mamoswine exhibits a few Ground-type characteristics, such as its sturdy body and powerful physique.
A female Mamoswine has shorter tusks than a male one.
Mamoswine are incredibly strong. Their sturdy body and feet enable them to cross even the most dense and dry snow. Mamoswine are able to endure harsh cold and hunger for an almost indefinite amount of time, as indicated by a ten-thousand-year-old specimen waking up, much to the amazement of those who discovered it.
Thanks to its dual Ice/Ground typing, Mamoswine is the only fully evolved Pokémon not affected by either Hail or Sandstorm (not including Pokémon who have abilities that negate weather effects).
Mamoswine lived all around the world during the last ice age, but its population thinned when the climate grew warmer. Some have been known to survive frozen for over 10,000 years. Though rare, wild Mamoswine can found in Unova’s Giant Chasm.
Dawn has a Mamoswine that evolved from a Piloswine in monster Bottin A Breed Stampede!.
A herd of Mamoswine appeared in Giratina and the Sky Warrior with Regigigas.
Platinum caught a Mamoswine and gave it to Diamond without using it, as it reminded her of the boy. He nicknamed it “Moo.”
Koya has a Mamoswine was used in the battle against Hareta.
Mamoswine appears to be based on a combination of a woolly mammoth and a boar.

The Pokémon Watch (Japanese: ポケモンウォッチ Pokémon Watch), or Pokétch (Japanese: ポケッチ Pokétch) for short, is a personal tool manufactured by The Pokétch Company for Trainers from Sinnoh, in the form of a watch with a touch screen. In Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, it is the navigational successor to the Pokégear and PokéNav, the counterpart of Unova’s C-Gear, and is seen on the bottom touch screen of the Nintendo DS when the player is walking around.
The Pokétch’s functionality comes from the applications, or Pokétch apps, that are installed in it, making it extensible. The Pokétch Company, as well as independent developers, periodically create new apps. The user scrolls through a Pokétch’s apps by tapping a button on the side of its screen.
In Diamond and Pearl, there are 25 available apps, four of which are included with the Pokétch. The rest are not available at the start but can be received at a later time, and a few must be obtained by showing a certain species of Pokémon to another character. Listed in each section below is the in-game description of its app, followed by its in-game location and further information about it. In Platinum, the apps are ordered in the same order as they are on the Pokétch in Diamond and Pearl.
“The Digital Watch displays the current time. Don’t be late for meetings with your friends!”
Included in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum with the Pokétch. As its most basic feature, the Pokétch will digitally display the time of day, much like the Pokégear of Johto had, only this time running in 24-hour format, instead of 12-hour AM/PM format. It runs off the Nintendo DS’s internal clock, and through this, can keep track of the date of a Pokémon’s capture as well as the time of day. There is also an analog clock app, which unlike its digital version is not available from the beginning.
When the screen is touched, it brightens slightly.

“The Calculator can handle up to ten digits. It’s perfect for figuring out math questions that might pop up.”
Included in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum with the Pokétch. It is a basic calculator, with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division apps usable. When an answer is displayed, if the player has a Pokémon whose Sinnoh Pokédex number matches the answer rounded down to the whole number below it, the calculator will play that Pokémon’s cry.
The Hearthome Gym in Diamond and Pearl asks the player basic math questions to figure out the proper path to the Gym Leader. Getting them wrong results in Trainer battles; most of them wonder why the player didn’t just use the Calculator App to get the right answer.
If the calculator attempts to display an answer that is above ten digits, or one that is invalid (like a dividing by 0 error), it will show question marks.

“The Memo Pad is useful for jotting down a note, or just doodling. There’s an eraser, too, just in case you make a mistake.”
Obtained in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum from the president of The Pokétch Company after obtaining the Coal Badge. It is a notepad for Trainers to use while out in the field to draw or write (e.g., to jot down notes on the area or on Starter Pokemon which Pokémon to get to beat the next Gym), however the memo is erased if the application is changed or the game is turned off.

“The Pedometer keeps a count of the number of steps traveled. It automatically counts steps. Touch the button to reset it.”
Included in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum with the Pokétch. Useful for out-of-battle poison damage, Egg hatching, Amity Square items fetching, battling with the Vs. Seeker, and Great Marsh excursions. It is also instrumental in accessing the Surf glitch. When the counter reaches 99,999, it simply rolls back to 0.

“The Pokémon List indicates the statuses of your team’s Pokémon. Touch them to hear their cries. Their HP bar is also displayed.”
Included in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum with the Pokétch. Displays the icons of the Pokémon in the Trainer’s current party. Also indicates their HP level and whether or not they are holding an item. Touching the screen resets and updates the display. Note that if a Pokémon is inflicted with a status ailment, it has a different cry, and is shown as a gray silhouette.

“The Friendship Checker indicates how friendly your Pokémon are to you. Touch the screen. The Pokémon that like you will come closer.”
Obtained in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum from a woman in Eterna City’s Pokémon Center once Team Galactic has been defeated in their building. Displays the icons of Pokémon in the Trainer’s party milling about. Touching and holding on a Pokémon will Grass Pokemon play its cry and display zero, one, or two hearts around it corresponding to its own friendship; the hearts may be either large or small. Double-tapping makes all the Pokémon displayed jump. If a Pokémon has 2 giant hearts, it is at maximum friendship. If the Pokémon is not friendly with the user, then it will move away from the point where the Nintendo DS screen is touched.

“The Dowsing Machine searches for hidden or obscured items. Touch the radar screen. If there is an item nearby, it will respond.”
Obtained in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum from Dawn/Lucas upon arriving at the Route 207 entrance to Mt. Coronet (Platinum), or near the Route 206 junction (Diamond and Pearl). Similar to the Itemfinder and Dowsing MCHN, it displays a radar field divided into four quadrants corresponding to northwest, southwest, etc. Touching the field sends out a “ping”, and if a hidden item is near where it was touched, a ping will repeatedly show or a dot will blink, indicating where it is relative to the user. The user must then position themselves to be beside the hidden spot (not directly on top of it), then face the item and press “A”. When done properly, the player will find the item.

“The Berry Searcher is a map that shows the locations of Berries. It indicates the presence of Berries in areas you have already visited.”
Obtained in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum from a girl in the Berry Master’s house in Route 208 after answering “yes” to her question. Displays a basic Sinnoh map similar to the Marking Map’s showing where mature Berry trees are located in areas already visited. Touching the screen resets and updates the display.

“The Day-Care Checker shows the Pokémon you have in the Day Care.”
Obtained in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum from a man in Solaceon Town’s Day Care. A result of a collaboration between the Day Care and The Pokétch Company, this app allows Trainers to see the levels, genders, and species of the Pokémon (up to two) located in Solaceon Town’s Day Care, and will show whether or not an Egg has yet been produced. This is unlike previous generations’ games, where Trainers attempting to breed two Pokémon would need to stay near a Day Care to make sure that they got an Egg as soon as it was ready.

“The Pokémon History keeps track of the Pokémon you have obtained. It shows the last kind of Pokémon you obtained.”
Obtained in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum from a resident of Solaceon Town. Displays icons of the twelve most recent Pokémon captured, evolved, hatched, or traded into the game. Touching an icon plays the Pokémon’s cry.

“The Counter is used for counting things one at a time. Touch the button and count whatever needs counting.”
Obtained in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum from the Veilstone Department Store at the counter on the second floor. Counts anything players choose to; upon press of the button on the bottom screen, the number goes up by one. It resets when the player switches Pokétch apps or turns off the game.

“The Analog Watch displays the current time. The short hand indicates the hour, and the long hand shows the minute!”
Obtained in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum from a resident of Celestic Town. It is an alternative to the digital watch, with the same touch-light feature.

“The Marking Map lets you mark intriguing locations. Drag marks to places on the map that you want to remember.”
Obtained in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum from the president of The Pokétch Company after obtaining three Gym Badges. Not to be confused with the more in-depth Town Map, it displays a basic Sinnoh map similar to the Berry Searcher’s and allows players to drag and drop different markings (●, ▲, ■, ♥, ★ and ♦) on the map. It also displays the current locations of the two Pokémon that travel around Sinnoh, Cresselia and Mesprit. In Platinum, the legendary birds can also be seen after they begin roaming.

“The Link Searcher searches for players on wireless communications. Touch the screen to get a list of people using wireless communications.”
Obtained in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum from the president of The Pokétch Company after obtaining five Gym Badges. Once touched, it lists the number of Pokémon games nearby participating in DS Wireless Communications, such as in Union Room, Underground, Colosseum, and other links. A wireless signal icon is also displayed in the upper-right corner of the screen. While active, until the menu is opened, the player moves, or something is talked to, DS Wireless Communications are enabled and so the DS’s battery drains somewhat faster. The Link Searcher can only be used while standing still. Moving will cause the Wireless Communications to end.

“The Move Tester checks how effective moves are by type. Switch the attacker and defender types to see what is effective.”
Obtained in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum from the president of The Pokétch Company after obtaining the Icicle Badge. Allows the user to simulate a type’s effectiveness in battle by choosing the type of the attack and the type(s) of the target Pokémon, and displays whether the attack is super effective, regularly effective, not very effective, or ineffective against an opponent and a number of exclamation marks corresponding to the damage’s multiplier – three being “regularly effective”, and each additional or missing mark corresponding to a factor of two.

Obtained in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum from a Pokétch developer by Pokémon Rock in Sunyshore City after showing to him a Pokémon with a serious nature (Rock Climb is required).
“The Dot Artist lets you draw pictures in a mosaic style. Touching the same dot makes its color turn darker.”
Obtained in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum from a Pokétch developer by Pokémon Rock in Sunyshore City after showing to him a Pokémon with a naïve nature (Rock Climb is required). A different type of drawing pad, this one allows the player to change the shades of the screen’s large pixels by touch. There are four different shades each square can be. Upon reception, it contains the text “Touch!”. Unlike the Drawing Pad, the image on the Dot Artist is maintained even if one switches Apps, leaves an area, or turns off the power.

“The Roulette features a wheel that can be written on. Draw numbers, items, or whatever on the wheel and give it a spin!”
Obtained in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum from a Pokétch developer in Sunyshore City after showing to him a Pokémon with a quirky nature (Rock Climb is required). Alongside the blank roulette wheel, on which choices may be drawn, are a spin button, stop button, and reset button.

“The Trainer Counter tracks the performance of the Poké Radar. It shows how often you have met the same kind of Pokémon in a row.”
Obtained in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum from Professor Oak upon entering Pal Park. Lists the icons of the top three Pokémon met in a row using the Poké Radar. Touching an icon plays its cry.
If one is currently using the Poké Radar for chaining Pokémon, the area at the top will display the current chain.
“The Kitchen Timer can count down from up to 99 minutes, but not precisely. Set the time with the center button, then start the countdown.”

The Pokétch has been redesigned in Pokémon Platinum. It has two buttons now; the bottom one has the same function as the single button found in Diamond and Pearl has. The top one is a button to cycle backwards through the various apps.
The Pokétch Company (Japanese: ポケッチカンパニー Pokétch Company) is a Jubilife City-based, family-owned company, and the manufacturer of the Pokétch. It is relatively small, unlike Silph Co. or the Devon Corporation, and actually started as a hobby of the owner, who made what he liked before the business grew to its present state. Skuntank (Japanese: スカタンク Skutank) is a dual-type Poison/Dark Pokémon.
It evolves from where appear fake pokemon Molerra Stunky starting hot to get Sheepeble at level 34.
Skuntank are medium sized mammalian Pokémon that are dark purple with a white stripe running down their backs. Its appearance is slightly cat-like with fangs and smaller cheeks than that of Stunky’s. Its cheeks now have a tan coloration. The whiskers present on its pre-evolution have since vanished or have been replaced by a furry purple tufts on the sides of Skuntank’s face. Skuntank’s legs are tan, and the tan coloration of their underside now form a spiky pattern. Skuntank’s most notable and obvious feature, however, is that their tails are much longer and are often laid out on their backs and over their faces.
Skuntank are known for their noxious fluid which not only smells dreadfully disgusting, but is possibly flammable and explosive, allowing it to learn Fire-type attacks like Flamethrower and Fire Blast as well as explosive attacks like Explosion. It can spray this fluid over 160 feet, and the longer it allows the liquid to ferment within its body, the more powerful the smell. Unlike its pre-evolution and real-life Skunks, Skuntank spray this from their tail tip instead of the base.
It is likely that like Stunky, it uses its foul smelling spray to defend itself.
Skuntank prefer to nest in large, prickly bushes in heavily wooded areas.
Jupiter has a Skuntank which she first used in Double Team Turnover!.

A Skuntank appeared in the Sinnoh Grand Festival in Last Call — First Round!.
A Skuntank appeared in the opening scenes of Zoroark: Master of Illusions.
Team Galactic’s Grunts used an army of Skuntank and Staravia to battle Paka and Uji in Veilstone City so that they can find their client, Platinum, and use her for a ransom. They were defeated by the combined efforts of Paka, Uji, Diamond, and Pearl.
Like in the games and anime, Jupiter has a Skuntank, but it was only seen after being defeated by Mitsumi.
Skuntank is based on a hog-nosed skunk.
Skuntank may be a combination of skunk, stank (past tense of stink), and tank.
Where’s Armaldo? (Japanese: ドクター・モロボシの島！化石ポケモン現る！！ Island of Doctor Moroboshi! Fossil Pokémon Appear!!) is the 102nd episode of the Advanced Generation series, and the 376th episode of the Pokémon anime. It was first broadcast in Japan on November 11, 2004 and in the United States on November 19, 2005.
Ash and his friends continue their journey, this time stopping at Wales Island, a crescent moon-shaped island. Ash and May can’t wait to stop and do more training for their next battles.
On the beach, May and Ash immediately begin their training, with Ash having Pikachu practice some of its attacks on a floating log. Soon, May happily exclaims that her Bulbasaur has finally learned Petal Dance. Sure enough, Bulbasaur is able to use the move to slice a hole through an incoming wave.
Meanwhile, Max is out by himself gathering firewood in the forest when spots a Cradily. Max screams and the Pokémon runs off. Hearing the scream, the others come running and Max explains what he saw. Brock says that Cradily is supposed to be extinct. As Ash looks for the Pokémon, May suggests that maybe he mistook it for another Pokémon. Suddenly, a Breloom appears, and everyone assumes that this is what Max saw.
Max insists that he really saw a Cradily and runs off, anxious to prove them wrong. As he explores the forest, Max comes across a mansion with what appears to be a laboratory inside. Through the window, he’s also able to see that there are many Lileep inside, which are the pre-evolved form of Cradily. Suddenly Max is caught by a man in a lab coat.
As Ash and the others look for Max in the forest, a Cradily appears behind them! A woman in a lab coat quickly follows it, and Brock falls madly in love. The woman introduces herself as Annie Proctor, and ask what they’re doing in the forest. Ash and May explain what happened, and Annie thinks Max probably ended up at the laboratory.
Everyone is taken to the lab, where Max is waiting with Professor Proctor, Annie’s husband. Brock is crushed to find out she’s married. There they see the Lileep, and May wonders how they could be there since they’re supposed to be extinct. Annie and Prof. Proctor explain that the Pokémon were cloned from Fossils, and the gang are eager to learn more. Outside, Team Rocket spy on everyone and listen in.
Professor Proctor begins to explain that when they were alive, Lileep, Cradily, Anorith, and Armaldo lived on a peninsula, that has since broken off to become an Wales Island. Once the land was isolated, the Pokémon became extinct. They also found nearby Fossils of fruit that are believed to be their main source of food. Professor Proctor then explains that they were able to extract Lileep from the Root Fossil, while Anorith was extracted from a Claw Fossil. Professor Proctor thinks that he’ll be famous for the work he’s done with the ancient Pokémon, but Annie tells the kids that they haven’t made any official announcement to the scientific world at the moment. Outside, Jessie, James, and Meowth begin plotting to steal the Pokémon.
Back in the lab, Annie exclaims that an Anorith is ready to evolve, so the gang gathers to watch. After its successful evolution into an Armaldo, a net appears and grabs Armaldo. Team Rocket begin to gleefully reel in their catch, but Armaldo uses Metal Claw to break free of the net and uses Water Gun on Team Rocket, breaking them through the wall of the lab and blasting them off again. Unfortunately Armaldo is enraged and turns its Water Gun on Ash and the rest of the lab before storming outside.
Ash and the http://www.monstermmorpg.com/Maps-Cloud-Town others begin to give chase into the forest, confused as to why Armaldo turned on them. They soon find Armaldo chewing on some fruit, unable to find any it likes. When they try to convince it to come back to the lab, it launches another Water Gun, which everyone is able to dodge. Pikachu tries to explain things to Armaldo, and the group decide that maybe having Pokémon of the same type talk to it would help. So since May’s Beautifly and Brock’s Forretress share Armaldo’s Bug-type traits, they are sent out to talk.
The talks fail, however, when Armaldo uses Metal Claw attack on the Pokémon. They’re all able to dodge, but Ash decides to try battling it, and calls on his Corphish and orders it to use Crabhammer on Armaldo. Armaldo merely swats Corphish away. Meanwhile the Professor notes Armaldo’s dislike of the nearby fruit. Corphish recovers and uses BubbleBeam, but Armaldo counters it with a Water Gun attack and succeeds in blasting through Corphish’s attack and ending the battle. As Ash tends to Corphish, Armaldo uses Metal Claw to burrow into the ground and escape.
As May wonders if Armaldo is looking for something, Professor Proctor theorizes that it is looking for the fruit the species ate when the island was still a peninsula. Today, the Berries only exist at the very tip of the crescent-shaped island. Sure enough they find Armaldo there, but it’s grabbed by a Team Rocket mecha that resembles a tank with arms. After Team Rocket says their motto, Meowth says that they should go back to the lab to grab the Lileep there, so the tank-mecha makes its way to the lab. Professor Proctor gives chase until he’s close enough to jump on the back. Once on the mecha, the Professor pounds on the mecha to let Armaldo know that he’s there, and Armaldo recognizes that he’s there to help. James notices that Professor Proctor is on the mecha, and swerves in attempt to fling him off. The Professor manages to cling on, so James has the mecha’s arms grab him and toss him off it. The doctor lands with a thud in front of Ash and the others, who are trying their best to keep up.
Ash has Pikachu use Thunderbolt, but the attack is useless. May then calls on her Bulbasaur to use Petal Dance on some rocks on the cliff above the mecha. The attack causes an avalanche of rocks to fall down, blocking the road. The mecha crashes into the rocks and flips over. Max sees that the bottom of the mecha is ordinary metal, so attacks can probably get through it. Professor Proctor pounds on the mecha to tell Armaldo where the weak spot is, and it uses Metal Claw to break free.
Team Rocket doesn’t give up, with Meowth jumping forward to use Fury Swipes on Armaldo. Armaldo counters with Rock Blast and bends Meowth’s claws. Bulbasaur then steps in and uses Petal Dance, followed by Pikachu with a Thunder attack, sending Team Rocket blasting off again.
With Armaldo safe, the Pokémon finds its favorite Berries and eats happily, thankful for the rescue and much more friendly now. Also, since Bulbasaur did so well in battle, May decides to use Pokemon Episode Guide it in her next Pokémon Contest. Before resuming their journey, Ash and the gang enjoy the beautiful sunset with Professor Proctor, Annie, and Armaldo.
