Kecleon (Japanese: カクレオン Kakureon) is a Normal-type Pokémon.

While it is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon, it has the natural Ability, Color Change, to change its type during battle.

Kecleon is a greenish reptilian Pokémon. It has yellow rings around the eyes as well as having yellow lips and frills. Kecleon has small ridges on its shoulders and a purple zigzag stripe about its midsection. It also has a long skinny tail that is usually curled in a helix shape.

Kecleon can change its color to match its surroundings. This can make it difficult to find. Its Monitude stripe, however, never changes.

Kecleon’s other skills in battle include the capability to wield various elemental attacks, Ghost/Dark moves (such as Sucker Punch and Shadow Claw) and a handful of Psychic abilities (such as Psybeam and Trick Room).

Kecleon often hide by changing its color to match its surroundings in order to avoid being found. However, it cannot change the color of the red zigzag stripe about its midsection.

They are usually found in forests where they change their body color to blend into the surroundings.

Kecleon alters its body coloration to blend in with its surroundings, allowing it to sneak up on its prey unnoticed. Then it lashes out with its long, stretchy tongue to instantly ensnare the unsuspecting target.

Kecleon first appeared in The Kecleon Caper and was the first Generation III Pokémon to appear in the anime. A pair of them tried to foil Team Rocket’s attempt to steal their owners’ stuff.

Harrison used a Kecleon against Ash’s Pikachu in the Silver Conference in Playing with Fire and Johto Photo Finish. It finally lost to Pikachu after an intense battle.

Two Kecleon—one green, one purple—known as the Kecleon Brothers, appeared in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Team Go-Getters out of the Gate! Unfortunately, Team Meanies bought out everything they had. They made another appearance in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time & Darkness.

A Kecleon was one of the Pokémon that played hide-and-seek with Pikachu and the others in Pikachu’s PikaBoo. However, said Kecleon missed out on the excitement when a lawn-mower was on the loose. The end of the short finds Kecleon standing in the same spot, wondering where everyone is. It was not found because it was invisible.

A Kecleon appeared in Big Meowth, Little Dreams. It was stealing food to take to Azumarill’s sick niece.

A Kecleon appeared in Now That’s Flower Power! as a Pokémon in the Contest.

A Kecleon appeared in Pros and Con Artists.

A Kecleon appeared in A Double Dilemma.

A Kecleon appeared in Saved by the Beldum. http://www.monstermmorpg.com/Disney-Dress-Up-Games

Angela used a Kecleon to train her team of ninjas in From Cradle to Save.

A Kecleon also appeared in One Big Happiny Family! in Jessie’s fantasy.

A Kecleon appeared in Pruning a Passel of Pals!

Wally captured a Kecleon in the Petalburg Woods with Ruby’s assistance, and he cherishes it as his first Pokémon, like his game version’s Ralts. It is often used for maneuvers involving its long tongue, and is the first of the mainly-green wardrobe of Wally’s team, joined by a Roselia, Cacturne, and the Flygon given by Norman.

Due to its Ability, this Pokémon will change its type throughout the battle, thus changing its weaknesses. For instance, if hit by a Fighting type move, it will become more vulnerable to a Psychic type attack and more resistant to a Dark type attack if either is used next.

Kecleon is based on a chameleon, most likely the Veiled chameleon.

Kecleon and Kakureon may be a combination of 隠れる kakureru (to hide) and chameleon.

Shinx (Japanese: コリンク Kolink) is an Electric-type Pokémon.

It evolves into Luxio starting at level 15, which evolves into Luxray starting at level 30.

Shinx is based on a lion cub or kitten. Its fur is mostly blue, yet there is an arrangement of black fur under its neck like a collar. Its forelegs each have a gold ring around them; these are electricity glands. It has large, oval ears with gold star-like symbols in them, similar to the star on its tail or a fleur-de-lis. Its tufts of hair will eventually Happalm grow into a mane and can be seen on the top and rear sides of its head. Whenever its mouth is shown open, small fangs can be seen developing.

A female’s mane doesn’t stick up as much as a male’s. Also, all four paws of a female Shinx are blue while the hind-paws of a male are black.

As a defense mechanism, its fur can glow brightly to blind predators so it can escape. As an Electric-type, Shinx can also use moves such as Charge and Spark.

All of its fur dazzles if danger is sensed. It flees while the foe is momentarily blinded.

It lives in plains and various grassy areas. This may relate to how it is based on a lion.

In the wild, Shinx, Luxio, and Luxray Monster Games generally hunt for food.

Shinx first appeared in Not on My Watch Ya Don’t!, as Landis’s Pokémon.

Shinx also appeared in the movie The Rise of Darkrai. In the garden, Dawn’s Piplup got into a fight with it over a Pecha Berry. They eventually began a fight among all the Pokémon. Not too long after, they were calmed down when Alice started playing Oración. Shinx decided to split the fruit in half and share the other with Piplup.

A Shinx appears in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time & Darkness asking Team Poképals to retrieve a Gabite scale to help his sick sister. His sister also makes an appearance at the end of the episode.

Angie owns a Shinx which appeared along with her in Camping It Up!. It also appeared in Up Close and Personable!, Ghoul Daze!, One Team, Two Team, Red Team, Blue Team! and If the Scarf Fits, Wear It!.

Two Shinx were also seen under Reggie’s care in Lost Leader Strategy!.

A Shinx also appeared in a flashback in Aiding the Enemy.

A Shinx also appeared in One Big Happiny Family! in Jessie’s fantasy.

A Shinx also made a cameo in To Thine Own Pokémon Be True!

A Shinx made a brief cameo in SS024, outside Professor Rowan’s lab.

A photograph of a Shinx appeared in [[BW054|The Four Seasons of Sawsbuck!]

Platinum was attacked by a pack of Shinx and Luxio.

Shinx was the first Pokémon Hareta caught with Free Mmorpg a Poké Ball. Hareta caught it with the intention of challenging Jun to a battle, but the expected battle was sidetracked by Team Galactic’s attack on the Valley Windworks. It evolved after defeating B-2 on Iron Island.

Shinx is based on a lion cub. It also resembles the title character from Kimba the White Lion.

Shinx may be any combination of shock, shine, or shining and lynx or Sphinx.

Kolink may be a combination of 子ko (child) and blink or lynx.

Dawn’s Ambipom (Japanese: ヒカリのエテボース Hikari’s Eteboth) is the only Pokémon to be captured by Ash in the Battle Frontier saga. Much later, she was traded to Dawn in exchange for Buizel.

Ambipom was first seen as an Aipom in Slaking Kong!, worshiping a giant Slaking with several other mountain-dwelling Pokémon. She also stole Ash’s hat, much like Ash’s Primeape did 428 episodes earlier, with a group of Aipom getting food to offer the Slaking. Later, Aipom joined the other Aipom, as well as several Mankey, Vigoroth and Slaking, to attack the giant Slaking, which turned out to be a mechanical robot made by Team Rocket. She then helped in returning the stolen berries to Taylor. Later, after Ash and his friends left Taylor’s home, the group sees Ash’s hat on a rock. After wondering who placed it there, they found out that it was Aipom, due to an apple and a flower she left with the hat. The group then continues their journey as Ash says Aipom is a cool Pokémon after all. Unknown to them, the happy Aipom was watching them from a nearby tree.

Aipom soon reappeared in the next episode, May, We Harley Drew’d Ya!, stealing the hats of the participants before making off with Ash’s hat again.

In Thinning the Hoard, due to her causing too much trouble, Ash attempted to catch her. After Pikachu used Quick Attack to get Ash’s hat back and Thunderbolt to weaken her more, she was still able to foil Ash’s capture attempt.

In Channeling the Battle Zone, as well as the previous episode, after watching May in the Kanto Grand Festival, Aipom became thrilled with battling and challenged Ash and his Pikachu for a battle; as he won, Ash finally captured her where can i find monstermmorpg monster Burrowl in front of a huge crowd.

In Aipom and Circumstance!, Aipom became jealous of Pikachu’s closeness to Ash. Aipom also seems to have a certain penchant for headgear; aside from taking Ash’s and other participants’ hats, Aipom wore a daisy chain on her head and put on a ceremonial crown that the locals had trouble getting off. The members of a crowd who wanted to crown, as well as Ash and his friends, attempted to remove the crown from her head so she would not become their king for a year. With the help of a Belue Berry’s sourness, the crown was finally taken off. Ash then hugged Aipom and told her not to get into trouble all the time. As Ash laughed a bit when he told her this, Aipom blushed.

Aipom’s gender was confirmed in the Japanese version of the said episode while Aipom was nearby gathering flowers. May said, 「エイパムやっぱり女の子ね?」 Aipom is a girl after all, isn’t she?. In DP048, Dawn also explicitly calls Aipom a girl, and in the dub of Steamboat Willies!, both Aipom and Buneary are referred to as girls, confirming them to be female.

Aipom enjoys participating in Pokémon Contests, but is also eager to battle. Her interest was first perked in Thinning the Hoard! where she took an interest in May’s battle with Harley. Aipom also watched her battle with Drew before enticing Ash into catching her. While Ash had Aipom, she usually sat on his left shoulder when outside of her Poké Ball, in contrast to Pikachu sitting on his right shoulder.

In order to bring back Torkoal to battle Brandon’s Registeel in Overjoyed!, Ash sent Aipom to Professor Oak, where Aipom had trouble adjusting to the new environment and Ash’s absence, even attacking the Professor. However, after Ash’s second defeat, Aipom returned.

When Ash left for Sinnoh, he wanted to leave all of his Pokémon but Pikachu behind as he did when leaving for Hoenn. However, Aipom snuck aboard the boat he was traveling on to accompany him on his new journey. Aipom proved to be necessary as a backup; as soon as they arrived, Team Rocket kidnapped Pikachu, and Aipom helped find them. During her journey through Sinnoh, Aipom defeated Paul’s Chimchar in battle and helped Ash capture his Starly. Ash also used her in his first two Gym battles in the region.

In Mounting a Coordinator Assault!, Aipom entered her first Contest with Ash. They got through the Appeals round but lost the first battle round to Zoey and her Glameow. After the battle, Zoey suggested that Ash should let Dawn raise Aipom.

In A Gruff Act to Follow!, Aipom put up a fight against where appear monster Glaucea Roark’s Cranidos in Ash’s first Gym match in Sinnoh, but lost. In their rematch in O’er the Rampardos we Watched!, she defeated Geodude.

In Borrowing on Bad Faith!, Aipom entered an unofficial Contest under Jessie’s command and won against Dawn’s Pachirisu.

She was used in Ash’s second Sinnoh Gym Battle in The Grass Menagerie! as well, going against Gardenia’s Roserade, which resulted in a victory, giving Ash his Forest Badge.

In Throwing the Track Switch, Ash began the training for his next Gym battle in Veilstone City. However, Dawn’s Buizel seemed to be more interested in Ash’s battle training and thus couldn’t set his mind on Dawn’s training; meanwhile Ash’s Aipom also had a problem in Ash’s training because her style tended to be more Contest oriented. Then Zoey proposed that Ash and Dawn trade them. After some soul-searching, the Trainers agreed, and the trade took place.

In Journey to the Unown!, Aipom managed to learn Double Hit. Brock told Dawn that Aipom would evolve soon. Later in the episode, when Dawn and Aipom were being attacked by a group of Unown, Aipom jumped in and evolved into Ambipom.

In Team Shocker!, Dawn used Ambipom http://www.monstermmorpg.com/2-Player-Racing-Games in her appeal for the Solaceon Contest, but failed to pass the Appeals round. Zoey explained to Dawn that she failed due to an overuse of Swift, blocking Ambipom from view. Ambipom also learned how to break dance, by spinning her tail to make waves of Swift attacks.

In Crossing the Battle Line!, Dawn used Ambipom in her Gym battle against Maylene. She was chosen for her extensive battling experience with Ash. Ambipom proved her strength in the battle by defeating Maylene’s Meditite, making her the only Pokémon Dawn used in the match who managed to defeat one of Maylene’s team. Despite this Ambipom found herself unable to stand up to the strength of Maylene’s Lucario and was quickly knocked out.

In Staging a Heroes Welcome, Dawn once again used Ambipom for the appeal round in the Wallace Cup. She managed to pass the round by dazzling the judges with Swift, Focus Punch, and Double Hit.

In Battling the Generation Gap! Dawn used her in the Celestic Contest Battle Rounds. Ambipom was able to easily defeat her first two opponents and then went up against Lila’s Delcatty. Ambipom won the Contest by using combinations of Double Hit, Focus Punch, Double Team, and Swift.

In Old Rivals, New Tricks, Ambipom was used in a Contest in Sandalstraw Town, and was defeated by Kenny’s Prinplup in the finals. During the Contest, she discovered a love and talent for ping pong. She used this talent to compete in To Thine Own Pokémon Be True’s Pokémon Ping Pong Tournament. Due to her obvious natural ability, fellow competitor O offered her a place at his Ping Pong Training Center in Vermilion City. Dawn left the decision to Ambipom. After deciding to pursue Ping Pong over her love of Contests and Battles, Ambipom bid farewell to Dawn and Ash and left the group in order to follow her talent.

Like most of her species, Ambipom is a playful Pokémon. As an Aipom, however she behaved much like Ash’s Chikorita, being mischievous, often stealing Ash’s hat or other forms of headwear and even other Pokémon’s food just for attention. She was also quite attached to Ash, getting jealous of his attention to Pikachu, or even attacking Professor Oak just because Ash wasn’t present. Upon her evolution, most of these traits mellowed. Ambipom had stopped stealing and became quicker to obey orders. While still loyal to Ash after being traded and evolving, she also became loyal to his friends, showing a more mature side.

Ambipom has been shown to develop different interests over time. A well known example of this is Contests. While not necessarily preferring them to Battles, she has shown great interest. She first showed interest in Contests as a wild Pokémon when watching May and other Coordinators compete in Thinning the Hoard!. Her love for Contests even persuaded Ash to participate in the Jubilife Contest.

Later, she became interested in Pokémon Ping Pong after using Ping Pong-like moves in a recent Contest. This interest, once again, ended up in Ambipom switching roads.

While still under the ownership of Ash, his Aipom was featured in the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The following is a list of related cards.

For more information on this Pokémon’s species, see Aipom and Ambipom.

Basculin (Japanese: バスラオ Bassrao) is a Water-type Pokémon.

While it is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon, it does have two different appearances: Red-Striped, which has a red stripe and irises, with a round eye and spiky fins, and Blue-Striped, which has a blue stripe and irises, with a slit eye and smooth fins.

Basculin has the look of a typical fish, with its bottom part being green and its top part being black, the two parts being separated by a bright red or blue stripe, the rarity of each depending on which game it is encountered in. Red-Striped Basculin has a round eye and spiky fins, while Blue-Striped Basculin has a thin eye and smooth fins. They both have a spiky dorsal fin and a big jaw.

Basculin are violent in nature, and they have a particular dislike for differently colored Basculin. They often form schools of the same color. Red and blue Basculin tend to fight each other immediately upon meeting. Occasionally, opposite colors of these Pokémon will get mixed into the other’s school.

Basculin live primarily in fresh water throughout the Unova region.

Both forms of Basculin appeared in A Fishing Connoisseur in a Fishy Competition!. Cilan managed to capture a Blue-Striped one; however, a wild Frillish released it.

A few other Basculin appeared during A Fishing Connoisseur in a Fishy Competition!. A Red-Striped and a Blue-Striped one were seen being reeled in by two unnamed Trainers. Iris managed to fish another Blue-Striped one with her bare hands but was penalized for it.

A photo of multiple Basculin appeared in The Four Seasons of Sawsbuck!.

Multiple Basculin made an appearance in Stopping the Rage of Legends! Part 1 and Stopping the Rage of Legends! Part 2.

Multiple Blue-Striped Basculin appeared in Kyurem VS. The Sword of Justice.

Multiple Red-Striped Basculin appeared in The Mystery of the Missing Cubchoo!. monster Dandelower

In PBW2, Cheren uses a Red-Striped Basculin against Monta http://www.monstermmorpg.com/Potomope-Monster-Dex-597 Princess Games in a Triple Battle.

A member of the Shadow Triad used a Blue-Striped Basculin to attack Lenora at Nacrene City.

Basculin were most likely inspired by betta fish. Both sexes of betta display horizontal bars of color either when frightened or setting up a pecking order. They are very violent and can even fight to the death. Its appearance may have been based on a bass or piranha, the latter of which has historically been viewed as violent.

According to interviews with Ken Sugimori in Nintendo Dream, Basculin was created late in development when they realized there were few new ‘standard’ fish-like Pokémon in Unova, the only others being Alomomola, Stunfisk, Frillish and Jellicent. It was given two forms to make up for the small amount of fish in the region, and based on a bass since there are wild bass in New York state.

Basculin is a combination of bass and masculine.

Bassrao may be a combination of bass and 丈夫 masurao (warrior, referring to its bold, violent nature) or バカラオ bakarao (bacalhau).
