Noctowl (Japanese: ヨルノズク Yorunozuku) is a dual-type Normal/Flying Pokémon.
It evolves from Hoothoot starting at level 20.
Noctowl looks much like a ‘normal’ owl, with a brown coloring and a triangle pattern of a darker shade of brown running down its chest. Its wings and wedge-shaped tail are dark brown like the pattern on its chest, although the underside of its wings is the same light brown as most of its body. It has bushy, cream-colored feather ‘horns’ that look similar to a trident or eyebrows. The ring pattern around its eyes and its talons are cream in coloration, and Noctowl’s beak and the nails of its talons are light pink. Additionally, Noctowl’s irises are red.
Judging by Wings Alexander’s Noctowl, elderly Noctowl are distinguished by a pale, shaggy beard-like growth beneath the chin.
Noctowl are nocturnal Pokémon. They have exceptional hearing and eyesight, can fly silently, and can turn their heads at a 180° angle to increase their intellect.
When they need to think, they rotate their head 180 degrees to sharpen their intellectual power. This resembles the action of a real owl observing its surroundings. They also silently sneak up on prey without being detected.
Noctowl normally only come out at night. They tend to make their nests in the trees of forests.
Judging from its entry in Pokémon Crystal and its sharp talons, Noctowl is likely a predatory Pokémon.
Noctowl first appeared in Fowl Play!. A man was trying to capture the smaller, Shiny Noctowl by using traps, but kept failing due to the Owl Pokémon’s intelligence. After Team Rocket was sent flying, the Noctowl allowed Ash to have the chance to capture it. After an intense battle, Ash succeeded.
Wings Alexander also has a Noctowl, as seen in Throwing in the Noctowl.
Several wild Noctowl also appeared in Fowl Play.
A Noctowl appeared in For Ho-Oh the Bells Toll!, Aiding the Enemy! and One Team, Two Team, Red Team, Blue Team!.
Another appeared in Pursuing a Lofty Goal! belonging to a participant of the PokéRinger competition.
Noctowl is seen as one of the Pokémon under Falkner’s ownership.
Noctowl’s appearance is based on that of the Eagle Owl.
Noctowl is a combination of nocturnal and owl.
Yorunozuku is a combination of 夜 hot to get fake pokemon Hissoil yoru (night) and 木菟 mimizuku (horned owl).
Dr. Zager (Japanese: ゼーゲル博士 Dr. Seger) is a Team Rocket scientist. He made his debut in Scraggy-Hatched to be Wild! as a supporting character, but later became a major recurring antagonist. Along with the Team Rocket trio, he was one of the main villains for much of the Best Wishes series.
After the Team Rocket trio stole a meteorite from the Nacrene Museum in The Battle According to Lenora! by switching the real meteorite with a fake one, the trio encountered Pierce with Dr. Zager in Scraggy-Hatched to be Wild!. They gave the meteorite to the doctor, who analyzed it and found out that the meteorite contained materials not found on their planet.
He made another appearance in A Venipede Stampede! with Jessie, James, Meowth and Pierce in a helicopter above the Desert Resort, where they finally found the Meteonite. He was set to appear again in two following episodes, but these never aired and ultimately were retconned out of canon.
Following the events of Battling For The Love of Bug-Types!, Zager appears to have taken on a commanding officer role in relation to Jessie, James and Meowth; this relationship is not unlike the one between Dr. Namba, Butch and Cassidy. He is often seen helping out the trio on their plans and carrying them out and giving them advice on how to accomplish their objectives. He has also provided them with several machines and weapons of various kinds. The trio report to him and are often tasked with collecting Pokémon for his experiments.
In Scare at the Litwick Mansion!, he appeared on a video call speaking to them, advising them of the danger posed by the Litwick inhabiting the Litwick Mansion. He claimed to have done extensive research on the Pokémon.
Zager is mentioned by game map Laser Town Jessie and James in Gotta Catch A Roggenrola!. He designed the Roggenrola-powered laser cannon mecha they use in the episode and tasked them with collecting many Roggenrola to power it.
He appears as an overhead vision Where Did You Go, Audino? when Jessie and James were discussing their plans for their captured Audino. He was mentioned to be conducting an experiment to create a radar system using the Audino and their remarkable hearing.
In Archeops In The Modern World!, he coordinated Jessie and James’s collection of the Dream Energy from Fennel’s experiment. At the end of the episode, he hinted that he would use it in conjunction with the energy Jessie and James collected from the Dreamyard in Dreams by the Yard Full! to create his own copy of the Fossil regeneration system.
Though he did not appear in person, he was mentioned by Jessie and James in Meowth’s Scrafty Tactics! and arrived in Anville Town in Purrloin: Sweet or Sneaky?. He appeared in The Beartic Mountain Feud!, where he warned Jessie and James to beware of Subway Boss Ingo and his brother Emmet. Zager then appeared in Crisis from the Underground Up! and Battle for the Underground!, where for the first time, he took on the role of direct antagonist. After scrambling the electronics of Nimbasa City and shutting down the Driftveil Drawbridge, he appeared in a helicopter and attempted to capture the subway car containing all of the stolen Pokémon using a claw attached to his helicopter. However, he was thwarted when Pikachu broke how do i get play with fake pokemon Yetee the claw with Electro Ball, forcing him to flee and order Jessie, James and Meowth to withdraw.
Dr. Zager made another appearance in The Lonely Deino!, when Jessie, James and Meowth introduced him to their mission to capture Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus on Milos Island. In Stopping the Rage of Legends! Part 2 he appeared again, piloting his helicopter in once Jessie, James and Meowth had captured the Kami trio to pick them up. However, when Ash, Iris and Cilan attacked the helicopter as a group and damaged it, he was forced to jettison his cargo of the three legendary Pokémon and escape.
He made another appearance in A Restoration Confrontation! Part 1, where he met Ash face-to-face for the first time. Using the data stolen from Fennel’s Fossil regeneration machine in conjunction with the electrically-charged rocks he had Jessie, James and Meowth steal from Chargestone Cave, he fulfilled his earlier stated goal of creating his own Fossil regeneration device. While holding off Ash and Ferris using a barrier inside his helicopter, he used the machine to restore the Tirtouga Fossil stolen from Ferris. He also appeared in A Restoration Confrontation! Part 2, leading the trio to recapture Tirtouga to use its energy for finding the Time Gate inside Twist Mountain. When they failed, he escaped once again in his damaged helicopter.
Dr. Zager appeared again in Rocking the Virbank Gym! Part 1. He was seen speaking with Jessie, James and Meowth about their mission to capture Meloetta. Because of the Melody Pokémon’s ability to turn invisible, Dr. Zager mentioned that he was developing special goggles to detect it. In Piplup, Pansage, and a Meeting of the Times!, he was seen in his submarine laboratory with Jessie, James and Meowth, analyzing their recording of Meloetta’s singing. Pleased with the results of the experiment, they decided to report it to Giovanni and mentioned that the song could be used to break a seal on the Abyssal Ruins.
He appeared again in Goodbye, Junior Cup – Hello Adventure!, assisting Jessie, James and Meowth in finding the entrance to the Abyssal Ruins. In Unrest at the Nursery! he was seen once more in his submarine lab, putting the finishing touches on the preparations for Team Rocket’s “Operation Tempest.” He appeared in Meloetta and the Undersea Temple! to assist Giovanni in reaching and activating the temple, and appeared again in Unova’s Survival Crisis! to play a similar role. After the plan failed, he retreated back to the Kanto region along with Giovanni, Jessie, James and Meowth.
Despite Team Rocket’s return in the Episode N arc, he has not been seen or mentioned since.
Tornadus’s known moves are Hurricane, Air Slash, Hidden Power and Hammer Arm.
Thundurus’s known moves are Thunder, Focus Blast, Wild Charge, Pokemon Gym Leaders and Hammer Arm.
Landorus’s known moves are Protect, Extrasensory, Hyper Beam and Stone Edge.
In A Restoration Confrontation! Part 2, Dr. Zager coordinated the trio’s attempt to recapture Tirtouga, who by that point had evolved into Carracosta. They failed to recapture it but managed to follow it back to the Time Gate, however, they were defeated and forced to withdraw. Carracosta was last seen leaving safely into the past.
Carracosta’s known moves are AncientPower, Brine and Hydro Pump.
The Pokémon League (Japanese: ポケモンリーグ) is the official group that organizes competitions for registered Pokémon Trainers. It serves as an umbrella that oversees the regional leagues.
There are six known regional leagues under the Pokémon League: the Indigo League in the Kanto region, the Orange League in the Orange Archipelago, the Johto League in the Johto region, the Hoenn League in the Hoenn region, the Sinnoh League in the Sinnoh region, and the Unova League in the Unova region. It is uncertain whether or not the competition in the Whirl Islands is sanctioned under the Pokémon League.
In order to participate in regional competitions, one must acquire a certain number of Gym Badges signifying the defeat of that region’s Gym Leaders.
In the anime, the League is known for its many traditions, including the opening celebration which evokes the flame of Moltres (or in the case of the Silver Conference, the flame of Ho-Oh), alluding to the Olympic Flame.
The Pokémon League apparently manufactures and distributes Pokémon merchandise, such as Ash Ketchum’s Official Pokémon League Expo hat.

There are two types of League competitions.
Qualifying Trainers may battle each member of the Elite Four along with the reigning Pokémon League Champion.
Winners will be invited into the Hall of Fame.
The Indigo and Johto Leagues share a single Elite Four and Champion that meet on Indigo Plateau. The other leagues each have their own Champions.
Periodically, regional championship competitions will be held for qualifying Trainers to come together and battle their Pokémon. Hundreds of the best Trainers participate in these competitions.
Rules vary from region to region, but generally, championship competitions are divided into three parts: qualifying rounds, preliminary rounds, and final rounds. Highly skilled Trainers will move on to compete with a smaller pool of competitors. The Trainer that defeats all other competitors is deemed the winner of the competition. Losing Trainers who participate in the competitions will be ranked accordingly.
Chairman Charles Goodshow serves as the president where to catch fake pokemon Youkairit of the League Competition Committee and oversees all the regional competitions.
In the game continuity, the Pokémon League challenge consists solely of collecting 8 badges and challenging that region’s Elite Four.
In the anime continuity, the League challenge is a tournament. Trainers qualify by having at least eight Gym Badges from the relevant region, and then an elimination tournament takes place between the qualifying Trainers. The winner of the tournament is invited to challenge that region’s Elite Four in battle.
Other ways of getting into the Indigo League besides collecting badges have been shown; such as by passing the Pokémon League Admissions Exam, as seen in The Ultimate Test, or by graduating from Pokémon Tech, as seen in The School of Hard Knocks.
In Pokémon Adventures, the Pokémon League consists of a regional tournament held every 3 years in each region. There are two ways of qualifying for the tournament—either by having eight Gym Badges or defeating a large number of other applicants without Gym Badges in preliminary rounds. The Pokémon League is sanctioned and run by the Pokémon Association.
In addition, there is no Elite Four challenge. The Elite Four are simply powerful groups of four Trainers from each region who ally themselves with each other for power, and their activities are not sanctioned by the Pokémon League or related to the Pokémon Association—in fact, the activities of Kanto’s Elite Four were villainous in nature. The Hoenn League added new rules to the Pokémon League tournament. The person that wins the tournament will be allowed to fight the Elite Four, four previous winners of the tournament. The Sinnoh Elite Four was enlisted by Pokémon Association to decode Charon’s notebook in order to find out more about his aspiration, and the Johto Elite Four is comprised of ex-criminals who are seeking emotional support from each other by training together.

Meditite (Japanese: アサナン Asanan) is a dual-type Fighting/Psychic Pokémon.
It evolves into Medicham starting at level 37.
Meditite, in reference to its name, resembles a person meditating, sitting with knees bent and feet together with fake pokemon game map Orion Valley its hands resting on its knees. It also resembles a certain yoga position. Its lower body is blue, with white on the wrists, feet, and what seems to be pants, or possibly a diaper. Its head is also white, with an onion-like shape and large ears. Its eyes are large and seem to be focused.

Its meditation gives it inner strength and spiritual power. It also is able to endure long periods without eating.
They are very focused in their practices of meditation and yoga, and seem to be very spiritual Pokémon as well.
Meditite are native to the mountains of Sinnoh, but can also be found in mountanous parts of Hoenn. There have also been sightings inside temples in Johto.

Meditite made its debut appearance under the ownership of Shauna in A Meditite Fight.
In Lost Leader Strategy!, it was revealed that Maylene used a Meditite in her Gym battle with Paul. Her Meditite also appeared again in Crossing the Battle Line! in a battle with Dawn, where it monster Psywar battled against her Buneary and won, then it battled against her Ambipom, where it lost. Meditite was also used to battle Ash in A Triple Fighting Chance!, where it managed to confuse his Chimchar and Staravia before losing to the latter.
A Meditite appeared in the opening of Lucario and the Mystery of Mew.
In Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea, Meditite and its evolved form, Medicham, worked for a traveling family of circus performers. The two Meditation Pokémon used Psychic to make balls of water retain their form.
In the Pokémon Adventures manga, Maylene has a Meditite that handily defeated Pearl’s Chatot, who Platinum borrowed so she could battle her.
It resembles a primate of some sort. It appears to have been based on a practitioner of yoga and is meditating in almost all of the media it appears in. Its yoga position in its artwork and sprites is the Lotus, where one crosses his/her legs and places their feet on the opposing thighs. This position supposedly holds the mind completely steady for long periods of time and calms it, heightening the user’s senses. Its hat somewhat resembles a turban and may also be the caps worn by many depictions of Hindu deities, such as Shiva, who are commonly seen meditating.
Meditite may be a combination of the corruptions of meditate and possibly tyke. It may also involve a corruption of tight, as in the phrase, “Tight focus.”
Asanan may be a corruption of asana, which in yoga refers to a pose or posture.
